Netwerkkabel DeLOCK 85330 RJ-45 Cat6a 0,5 m wit

The DeLOCK 85330 networking cable is a 0.5 m Cat6a S/FTP cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable features a lockable RJ45 connector that can be secured in the jack to prevent accidental removal, while the jack itself can be blocked to restrict unauthorised access. This combination makes the cable suitable for environments where physical control of network connections is required, such as public areas and data centers. A special release tool is required to open the connector lock and is included with the product.

Advantages

Shielding (S/FTP) reduces electromagnetic interference to support stable high-speed network performance. The lockable RJ45 connector prevents unintentional disconnection and, together with the blocked socket, increases physical security of network ports. The short 0.5 m length minimises cable clutter in patch panels and rack-mounted installations. The white jacket provides a clean appearance that suits professional environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting patch panels to switches in racks
• Securing network ports in data centers
• Protecting physical network access in public or shared spaces
• Short, tidy connections in office or server cabinet setups

To disconnect, use the included release tool to unlock the connector before withdrawing it. Ensure both ends are fully seated for optimal contact and check that the shielding is maintained by using shielded jacks where required.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short, permanent patch connections where physical access must be controlled. Store the included release tool in a secure location and document which ports are locked to maintain orderly access management.
