Netwerkkabel DeLOCK RJ45 Cat.8.1 90° naar beneden afgewinkeld / recht 0,5 m zwart

This DeLOCK RJ45 Cat.8.1 network cable (0.5 m) is designed for high-speed Ethernet connections and supports 40GBASE-T applications with a frequency of 2 GHz and data rates up to 40 Gbps. The cable features S/FTP shielding and a combination of a 90° downwards angled plug and a straight plug for flexible routing in confined spaces.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and helps maintain signal integrity at high frequencies. The Cat.8.1 specification and the 2 GHz frequency rating enable data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s. A 90° downwards angled RJ-45 connector provides a space-saving connection behind devices or inside network cabinets, while the straight connector offers standard plug-in convenience. The cable’s black colour and 0.5 m length suit short patching and neat installations.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, servers and patch panels
• High-speed 40GBASE-T Ethernet links
• Installations with limited rear clearance behind appliances or inside racks

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.8.1
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 (one 90° downwards angled, one straight)
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s (40 Gbps)
• Frequency: 2 GHz
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert the straight RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on one device and the 90° downwards angled RJ-45 connector into the port on the other device, aligning the clips until they latch. Use the angled end where rear space is limited to prevent cable bending and to allow a low-profile routing behind equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain optimal signal performance.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat.8.1 cable for close-proximity, high-speed links such as between patch panels and adjacent switches or servers. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and maintain proper cable management in racks to preserve shielding effectiveness and link quality.
