Netwerkkabel Dexlan 858385 Cat6a S/FTP 25 m zwart

The Dexlan 858385 Cat6a S/FTP networking cable in black is a 25-meter patch cable designed for high-performance wired networks. Constructed to meet Category 6a standards, the cable provides support for high-speed Ethernet connections with improved shielding. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, it enables straightforward connection between switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices while maintaining consistent signal integrity over the 25 m length.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat6a specification ensures support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at appropriate distances and delivers stable throughput for bandwidth-intensive applications. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for visible runs and professional installations. Plug-and-play RJ-45 terminations provide immediate compatibility with standard Ethernet equipment.

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding ports on switches, routers or network interfaces until they click into place. If running the cable through cable trays or conduits, verify bend radius recommendations to preserve transmission performance. For permanent structured cabling, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties while avoiding excessive compression of the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance maintain separation from power cables and large electrical equipment, and avoid tight twisting or kinking. Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for segments requiring high immunity to interference, and verify connector seating and port settings when troubleshooting link issues.
