Netwerkkabel Dexlan 858723 1m Cat6a S/FTP blauw

The Dexlan 858723 1m Cat6a S/FTP Blue networking cable provides a single-meter wired connection designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed to Cat6a specifications, the cable supports enhanced bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables. The S/FTP shielding combines an overall shield with individually shielded pairs to improve resistance to electromagnetic interference and deliver more stable signals over short runs. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a blue jacket for easy identification, the cable is intended for straightforward installation between network devices.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable offers improved performance for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links at short distances, with S/FTP shielding that minimizes external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk. The 1 meter length keeps cable runs tidy and reduces excess cable bulk. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with typical switches, routers, network interface cards and patch panels. The jacket color simplifies port and cable management in multi-cable environments.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable to connect a network device to a switch, router or patch panel for immediate network access; no additional configuration is required for basic wired connectivity. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and avoid running parallel and close to power cables to maintain signal integrity. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories without crushing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this short Cat6a S/FTP cable in environments where reduced interference is needed and where cable runs remain within the 1 meter length. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, and maintain proper separation from high-voltage lines. For longer runs or external installations, select a cable with appropriate length and environmental rating.
