Netwerkkabel Digitus CAT 6 U/UTP RJ-45 3m groen

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/UTP RJ-45 3m in green is a Category 6 patch cord designed to meet ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 specifications. The 3 m unshielded twisted-pair cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for structured cabling systems requiring Category 6 performance up to 250 MHz. The connector housings are transparent red for easy Category 6 identification and the cable is PoE+ ready with copper conductors and gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

The cable features an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath to minimise smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire and a molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and a latch protector to reduce connector damage. Performance is tested for Category 6 characteristics including NEXT up to 250 MHz, ensuring compliance with ISO & EN channel requirements. The transparent red connector makes identification simple while the green cable color helps organise and visually distinguish network runs.

Suitable for

• Structured office and data centre networks requiring Category 6 performance
• PoE+ powered devices such as access points, IP phones and cameras
• Connections between switches, patch panels and wall outlets

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Category: CAT 6 (Class E), up to 250 MHz
• Cabling: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Color: Green (cable) with transparent red connector
• PoE: PoE+ ready
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network device or switch port and the other to the corresponding patch panel, wall socket or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the molded boot with latch protection reduces the risk of damage during handling. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid kinking to maintain signal integrity and Category 6 performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, install within structured cabling channels and keep cable lengths within standards for horizontal runs. Avoid placing U/UTP cables alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce interference, and use proper patch panel ports and cable management to maintain signal quality.
