Netwerkkabel DIGITUS CAT 8.1 Keystone-module afgeschermd gereedschapsvrije aansluiting – 12 stuks

The DIGITUS CAT 8.1 Keystone Module Shielded Tool-Free Connection is a high-performance network cable module supplied in a pack of 12. Designed for modern structured cabling, this shielded keystone module supports high-speed data transmission with reduced electromagnetic interference. The tool-free connection simplifies installation and replacement in patch panels, keystone plates and wall outlets, while the shielded design helps maintain signal integrity in environments with high levels of electrical noise.

Advantages

This keystone module combines CAT 8.1 performance with a shielded construction to provide enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference. The tool-free termination eliminates the need for specialized crimping tools, reducing installation time and risk of wiring errors. Supplied as a set of 12, the modules are convenient for larger installations or for stocking spare parts for maintenance. The compact keystone format ensures compatibility with common keystone mounts and faceplates.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server rooms requiring high bandwidth and low latency
• Enterprise network racks and patch panels
• High-density office cabling and structured cabling systems
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is needed

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 8.1 performance level for high-frequency transmission
• Shielding: Shielded module for improved protection against EMI and crosstalk
• Connection type: Tool-free termination for quick installation without special tools
• Format: Keystone module compatible with standard keystone plates and patch panels
• Pack quantity: 12 modules per package for multi-point installations

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to the length recommended for the module. Insert the individual conductors into the appropriate slots of the tool-free keystone module following the colour-coded wiring scheme. Close the module’s termination cover or mechanism to secure the conductors; the design provides reliable contact without crimping. Snap the completed keystone module into a compatible keystone plate, patch panel or faceplate and connect the RJ45 patch cable to the front port as required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use CAT 8.1 compliant cabling and maintain recommended bend radii and separation from power lines. Verify shielding continuity by bonding the keystone modules and associated outlets to the system ground where applicable. Test each link with appropriate network certification tools to confirm bandwidth and signal quality after installation.
