Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik Cat.6a HiroseTM21 RJ-45 Cat6a 10 m zwart

The EFB Elektronik Cat.6a Hirose TM21 networking cable is a 10 m halogen-free cable designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable wired connections. It features S/FTP PIMF construction with an overall drain and individual foil shields per pair, supports frequencies up to 1000 MHz, and is TIA/EIA 568B coded. Both ends are fitted with Hirose TM21 RJ-45 connectors in black for straightforward installation in network equipment and patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat.6a cable provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference through S/FTP PIMF shielding, enabling stable gigabit and higher-speed connections. The halogen-free jacket reduces toxic emissions in case of fire, and the 10 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch and rack-to-equipment connections. The Hirose TM21 RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports while preserving signal integrity.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktops and laptops
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as VoIP, video streaming and large file transfers

How to use

Connect one Hirose TM21 RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router or computer) and the other end to the target port or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and electrical noise sources to maintain signal quality. For structured cabling, follow your site’s patching and labeling conventions.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for your network design, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, and use cable management to prevent sharp bends. Use matching Cat.6a-rated patch panels and connectors to preserve the cable’s performance.
