Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik EC020200232 RJ-45 Cat7 50 m oranje

The EFB Elektronik EC020200232 RJ-45 Cat7 networking cable in orange is a 50 m S/FTP patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and point-to-point connections. It supports Cat7 performance levels and is suitable for installations that require shielded twisted pairs and robust connector contacts for stable links in demanding environments.

Advantages

Built to Cat7 specifications, this cable provides support for very high data rates and reduced crosstalk. The S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foil-wrapped pairs) improves immunity to electromagnetic interference and preserves signal integrity in congested cable environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The bright orange jacket makes cable runs easy to identify and manage in racks and conduit.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN backbones and horizontal runs
• Server rooms and data center patching
• Areas with high electromagnetic interference
• Structured cabling installations requiring visual cable identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 50 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-wrapped pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Route the 50 m Cat7 cable along cable trays, ducts or underfloor channels as required, avoiding sharp bends and heavy compression. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 ports on switches, patch panels or network devices. Ensure that shield termination is properly connected to the equipment chassis or grounding point where applicable to maintain the S/FTP shielding effectiveness. Test the run with appropriate network certification or continuity tools after installation to confirm performance and correct wiring.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radius per manufacturer guidance, separate from power cabling to reduce interference, and use compatible shielded connectors and panels to preserve the shielding path. Periodically inspect connectors for corrosion or damage and replace if contact resistance increases.
