Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K5528RT.7.5 RJ-45 Cat8.1 7,5 m rood

The EFB Elektronik K5528RT.7.5 RJ-45 Cat8.1 7.5 m Red is a high-performance network cable designed for demanding wired connections. Compliant with Cat8.1 specification and constructed with S/FTP shielding, this 7.5-metre cable supports 40GBase-T cabling technology and data rates up to 40000 Mbit/s while minimizing electromagnetic interference. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in red, the cable is suitable for clearly identifiable installations in server rooms, racks, or desktop setups.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design combines foil and braided shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over the full length. Cat8.1 specification enables higher bandwidth and lower latency compared with lower category cables, and the RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with standard network equipment. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for mid-range routing without excessive slack, and the red outer jacket helps with quick visual identification in complex cabling environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed backbone connections between switches and patch panels
• Server rack interconnects and data centre short-reach links
• Professional workstations requiring 10 Gbit/s to 40 Gbit/s performance
• Low-interference office or studio networks where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Cabling technology: 40GBase-T
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Red

How to use

Route the cable between the required network ports, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal pairs. Insert the RJ-45 plug fully into the device port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance, maintain separation from power cables and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; ensure both ends are connected to devices or patch panels that support the intended data rate. If using in a rack, secure the cable with appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable 40GBase-T links, pair this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable with compatible network equipment and verify link speed settings on switches and NICs. Use the red colour to mark critical or high-speed paths in your cabling plan and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show signs of wear.
