Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8104SW.15 RJ-45 Cat6 15m zwart

The EFB Elektronik K8104SW.15 RJ-45 Cat6 15m Black networking cable is designed for wired Ethernet connections where reliable performance and consistent signal quality are required. This Cat6 U/UTP cable supports high-speed data transmission and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to reduce corrosion and improve electrical contact. Its 15-meter length and black jacket make it suitable for longer runs in home networks, office environments, or between networking equipment in server rooms.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat6 performance with support for high data rates up to 5000 Mbit/s and stable signal integrity provided by the U/UTP construction. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance connectivity and longevity by reducing oxidation. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices without additional patching, and the black outer jacket provides discreet integration into most setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within small and medium office networks
• Home network wiring for streaming, gaming and large file transfers
• Linking network devices in server racks or equipment cabinets where a 15 m run is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with unshielded overall)
• Maximum data rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 15 m
• Colour: black

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring the RJ-45 connectors are fully inserted into the corresponding ports until they click into place. Avoid sharp bends, kinks or excessive tension along the cable run to maintain performance and prevent damage. If routing through walls, conduits or cable trays, verify that bend radius and pull force limits are respected and that the installation environment matches the cable’s intended use.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6 cable for connections up to 15 m in standard Ethernet environments and pair it with network equipment rated for Cat6 or higher. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as high-voltage power lines and large motors to preserve signal quality.
