Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik MK6001.15O RJ-45 Cat6a 15 m oranje

The EFB Elektronik MK6001.15O is a 15 m shielded Cat6a RJ45 patch cable designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks. It features S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure stable data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference, with a slim moulded grommet that eases insertion in tight spaces. The cable’s orange colour makes cable identification simple in multi-cable setups.

Advantages

This Cat6a patch cable offers S/FTP shielding for improved protection against crosstalk and external noise, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance, and uses gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The moulded slim grommet simplifies connector insertion in cramped conditions while the 15 m length provides extended reach for longer runs.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections
• Server rooms and data cabinets
• Office and home network wiring
• Structured cabling where clear cable identification is needed

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and stretching; maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6a cables and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines. Use the orange colour to mark critical links or for easy identification in patch panels.
