Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a RJ-45 1 m geel

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a networking cable is a 1 m patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding (overall foil with individually shielded pairs) and meets Cat6a performance up to 1000 MHz, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and halogen-free jacket for safer installations. The cable is TIA/EIA 568B coded and comes in a distinctive yellow color for easy identification.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable high-bandwidth transmission. Cat6a specification and 1000 MHz rating enable reliable performance for demanding network applications. A halogen-free outer jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, and the bright yellow color simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet networks (10/40/1000 Mbps and beyond within Cat6a limits)
• Server rooms and data centers requiring shielded cabling
• Office and structured cabling systems following TIA/EIA 568B wiring
• Environments where easy cable identification is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Category: Cat6a, rated to 1000 MHz
• Coding: TIA/EIA 568B

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, or network interface) and the other plug to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured to establish a reliable link. Follow structured cabling practices and TIA/EIA 568B wiring scheme when terminating or patching multiple cables.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile force; maintain bend radius recommended for Category 6a cables. Use the yellow colour for visible routing and separation from other cable types. In shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of cable shields and connector housings to preserve S/FTP effectiveness.
