Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/UTP Cat5e RJ-45 RJ-45 1 m geel

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/UTP Cat5e RJ-45 to RJ-45 networking cable, 1 m in yellow, is designed for reliable wired data transmission in home and office environments. The cable conforms to Cat5e specifications and supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet speeds, providing a straightforward connection between network devices using standard RJ-45 ports. With a one-metre length and a visible yellow jacket, this cable is convenient for short links, patching in wall outlets, or connecting desktop equipment to switches and routers.

Advantages

This Cat5e S/UTP cable offers stable performance for typical local area network applications, supporting gigabit-capable signaling where infrastructure permits. The RJ-45 plugs on both ends ensure plug-and-play compatibility with most consumer and professional network hardware. The yellow outer jacket improves cable identification in patch panels and cable runs while maintaining a compact, flexible form factor suitable for confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and printers to switches or routers
• Short patch connections in wall outlets, patch panels and network cabinets
• Home networking for streaming, gaming and internet access
• Office desktop connections where a 1 m cable length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 5e (Cat5e)
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: S/UTP (overall braid with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until a click confirms the plug is seated. Use the cable to link computers, network switches, routers or wall outlets. For best performance, avoid tightly coiling or sharply bending the cable and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If using in a patch panel or cabinet, route the cable to minimize stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable gigabit operation, ensure both connected devices and intermediate network hardware support 1000Base-T. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors become damaged, and choose appropriate cable lengths to reduce excess slack and maintain tidy installations.
