Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A 20m oranje

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A 20m Orange networking cable provides a 20 metre link for high-speed Ethernet connections that comply with the Cat6a standard. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable is intended for reliable data transmission in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is important. The orange jacket provides clear visual identification in cabling runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually screened pairs to reduce near-end crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Cat6a capability supports higher frequencies and improved performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at typical installation lengths. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure immediate plug-and-play compatibility with network equipment. The 20 m length covers longer runs between switches, patch panels and workstations while the orange colour aids cable management and route identification.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections within office or data center environments
• Patch cabling between switches, routers, wall outlets and network devices
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity
• Visible cable runs where colour coding improves identification and maintenance

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (supports up to 10 Gbps over typical copper distances)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil plus individually shielded twisted pairs
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, 8P8C modular
• Length: 20 m
• Outer jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of the source device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 plug to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the cable along cable trays, raceways or through cable management channels to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines for long distances to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to 20 metres and maintain bend radii recommended by the manufacturer. Verify connector seating and perform network testing after installation to confirm link speed and signal integrity. Use the orange colour for easy identification within structured cabling systems.
