Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A oranje 1,5 m

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A Orange 1.5 m networking cable provides a compact and reliable solution for high-speed wired connections. Built to Cat6A performance, this 1.5 m cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. Terminated with RJ-45 plugs on both ends, it supports standard Ethernet connections and is suitable for desktop, rack and patch-panel use where a short, durable cable is needed. The bright orange jacket makes cable identification and routing simpler in complex installations.

Advantages

This cable delivers enhanced protection through S/FTP shielding, improving signal integrity in environments with potential interference from nearby equipment or cabling. The Cat.6A specification allows for higher bandwidth and better performance compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable Gigabit and multi-Gigabit connections. The 1.5 m length minimizes excess cable clutter while providing sufficient reach between adjacent devices. RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with network ports and devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers over short distances
• Patch panel and rack-side patching in small server rooms
• Home or office Ethernet runs where clear cable identification is required
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure both connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas of mechanical stress; maintain gentle loops and secure with cable ties or organizers if needed. For shielded installations, attach cable shields and grounding according to your site’s grounding policy to maintain the effectiveness of the S/FTP design.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable within its 1.5 m length for short-distance connections and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. When deploying in shielded networks, follow grounding best practices and use compatible shielded connectors and patch panels to preserve the integrity of the shielding.
