Zonecontroller Omnitronic ELA 6S 30W — 6-zone oproep-/lijnuitgangscontroller, 30 W totaalvermogen

Omnitronic ELA 6S 30W is a compact zone controller for public address and paging installations. It provides six selectable zones and a summed 30 W line-level output designed to feed external amplifiers or line inputs on powered speakers. The unit is intended for use in retail, office, education and small-venue environments where routing announcements or background audio to specific areas is required. Controls are laid out for direct zone selection and straightforward integration with existing PA systems.

Advantages

The zone controller offers six independent zone outputs selectable via front-panel controls, enabling targeted paging without rewiring. Its 30 W total line-level output supplies sufficient signal to drive a connected amplifier or active speakers, while maintaining low distortion at normal operating levels. Compact form factor and simple signal routing reduce installation complexity and allow quick setup in multiroom audio and paging applications.

How to use

Connect an audio source (microphone, mixer or background music source) to the controller's input, then route the output to an external amplifier or powered speakers. Use the front-panel controls to select the zones that should receive the audio signal. Adjust source and amplifier levels to obtain the required coverage and balance between zones. Follow typical PA system wiring practices, keeping signal cables separated from mains and using balanced cable runs where possible for best noise rejection.

Recommendations

Place the Omnitronic ELA 6S 30W near the system amplifier or rack to minimize cable runs. Confirm impedance and input sensitivity of downstream amplifiers or active speakers to match the line-level output. For larger installations, use a dedicated amplifier per area or daisy-chain outputs through appropriate distribution equipment to avoid overloading a single amplifier. Perform a sound check after installation and label zone controls for easy operation by staff.
