Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6A F/FTP slank Patchkabel RJ-45 5 m blauw

The equip® Cat.6A F/FTP Slim Patch Cable is a slim, high-performance network patch cable designed for 10GBase-T applications. At 5 m length and finished in blue, the cable features RJ-45 connectors, F/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts to support data transfer rates up to 10 000 Mbit/s while reducing interference. Its reduced diameter makes routing easier and saves space in high-density environments such as data centers and telecommunications rooms.

Advantages

The slim design provides almost half the diameter of a standard Cat.6A cable, enabling higher cable density in trays and racks without changing existing pathways. F/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts improve signal integrity and connection reliability. The 5 m length and standard RJ-45 connectors make the cable compatible with common network equipment for office and home installations.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections
• High-density cable installations in data centers and server rooms
• Office and home network setups using RJ-45 ports

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your switch, router or network interface and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the slim cable through trays or cable management channels to minimise bend and strain; avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling. The F/FTP shielding requires standard grounding practices in structured cabling systems when used in installations that mandate shield continuity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the equip Cat.6A F/FTP Slim Patch Cable in environments that require high port density or 10G throughput. Maintain appropriate bend radius, avoid kinking, and follow site grounding practices for shielded cabling. Replace the cable if physical damage to the jacket or connectors is visible.
