Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 2m rood

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 2m Red is a 2-meter network patch cable engineered for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this Cat.6A cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and reliable contact for stable connections in demanding network environments.

Advantages

The cable supports Cat.6A specifications to deliver higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower categories. S/FTP shielding reduces alien crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure corrosion resistance and consistent connectivity. Its red jacket allows quick visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T local area networks
• Server rooms and data centers
• High-bandwidth workstations and switches
• Structured cabling and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foil-screened pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Red
• Weight: 0.089 kg
• Brand: EQUIP, MPN: 605621, EAN: 4015867152423

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router, or network interface) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to maintain a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical stress; keep separation from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in 10G environments, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable for runs within recommended length limits, verify termination quality in patch panels, and avoid running parallel to mains cables. Regular visual inspection of connectors and proper cable management will help maintain signal integrity.
