Netwerkkabel Garbot B-02-62700 grijs 7 m Cat6 S/FTP

The Garbot B-02-62700 Grey 7 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 7-metre patch cable designed for reliable network connections between devices. It conforms to Cat6 standards and uses screened S/FTP construction — each pair is shielded with aluminium-clad polyester foil and the cable has complete braid shielding. The cable is terminated with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends and features gold-plated contacts with 1:1 contact mapping in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Advantages

Prepared double-shielded Twisted Pair construction (S/FTP) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Moulded kink protection increases durability at the connector ends while maintaining flexibility for narrow bends. High-quality RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. Stranded copper conductors provide a balance of flexibility and conductivity for patching applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Patch panel to switch or device connections in wiring closets
• Workstations and telephony equipment requiring Cat6 performance
• Environments where reduced interference is important (S/FTP shielding)

Key specifications

• Model: Garbot B-02-62700
• Standard: Cat6
• Length: 7 m
• Construction: 4-pair stranded copper wire, S/FTP (aluminium-clad polyester foil per pair + overall braid)
• Connectors: Screened RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact mapping: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one screened RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on your router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable without sharp kinks; use the moulded kink protection zones near the connectors to prevent stress. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as power lines or large motors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP patch cable for short to medium-length connections (up to 7 m) in structured cabling and desktop patching. For permanent in-wall installations, verify local regulations and consider using cables rated for in-wall use.
