Netwerkkabel Gembird PP6U-0.25M/B RJ-45 Cat6 0,25 m blauw

The Gembird PP6U-0.25M/B RJ-45 Cat6 0.25m Blue is a short, shield-free U/UTP patch cable intended for reliable Ethernet connections at close range. Constructed to Cat6 performance levels, it provides a compact link between network devices using standard RJ-45 ports. The cable's 0.25 m length is suitable for tidy connections where devices are close together, and the blue jacket helps with visual identification in patch panels, desks, and compact network setups.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts that support consistent conductivity and reduced contact corrosion over time. The U/UTP design delivers the expected performance for Cat6-rated cabling in short runs while minimizing crosstalk for typical home and office environments. Its short, flexible form factor reduces cable clutter and simplifies routing between adjacent ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop to a router or switch located within 0.25 m
• Patch panel or switch-to-switch short connections in tight racks or cabinets
• Desk-area connections to minimize visible cable length
• Temporary setups or testing where a short, reliable Ethernet link is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 U/UTP (unshielded)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured for network communication; the cable supports standard Ethernet auto-negotiation. For best performance, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and keep the cable clear of high-interference sources such as large power transformers or bundled power cables.

Recommendations

Use this 0.25 m Cat6 cable for short, direct connections where minimal slack is required. Route the cable without tight bends, avoid stretching the jacket, and label the cable if used in a patch panel to maintain an organized network layout.
