Netwerkkabel Goobay 93716 zwart 3m Cat6 U/UTP

The Goobay SLIM networking cable (model 93716) is a 3 m Cat6 U/UTP cable with slim outer diameter, designed for installations where space is limited and many network components are concentrated, such as server racks and data centres. It features RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating to improve contact quality and ensure stable data transmission. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for home or office environments.

Advantages

The slim construction reduces cable bulk and helps maintain airflow in enclosures with many cables. Cat6 specification supports higher data rates and improved signal integrity compared with lower categories, while the U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded) design simplifies installation where individual pair shielding is not required. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 plugs offer reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance over time.

Suitable for

• Short to medium length Ethernet connections (up to 3 m) in home and office networks
• Cabling inside server racks, patch panels and network cabinets with limited space
• Connections for switches, routers, PCs, NAS and other networked devices

Key specifications

• Brand: WENTRONIC (Goobay)
• Model / MPN: 93716
• EAN: 4040849937163
• Length: 3 m
• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 with gold plating
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other connector into the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the locking tab engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; its slim profile makes it easier to run through tight spaces and cable management channels. For best performance, keep length within the specified 3 m and avoid running parallel to high‑voltage power lines.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for reliable short‑range network links where space and airflow are important. Avoid environments requiring individual pair or overall shielding; choose shielded variants if electromagnetic interference is a concern.
