Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6-1500 UTP zwart 15 m

The Goobay CAT 6-1500 UTP networking cable in black is a 15 m unscreened twisted pair (UTP) cable designed for structured data cabling. It follows the EIA/TIA 568 pair-sequence standard, features molded RJ45 connectors with strain relief and gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent electrical connection and reduced corrosion.

Advantages

This CAT 6 UTP cable provides support for high-speed data transmission over typical Ethernet networks. The molded connectors with strain relief increase connector durability and reduce risk of cable damage at the plug, while gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability. The unscreened twisted pair design is suitable for common home and office environments where additional shielding is not required.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Connecting routers, switches, PCs, NAS and other network devices
• Home and small office network installations
• Patch panel and wall outlet connections following EIA/TIA 568 wiring

Key specifications

• Standard: EIA/TIA 568 pair-sequence
• Cable type: Unscreened twisted pair (UTP), CAT 6
• Length: 15 m
• Colour: Black
• Connectors: Molded with strain relief, gold-plated contacts

How to use

Plug each end of the cable into the RJ45 ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors are fully seated. Follow the EIA/TIA 568 wiring convention when terminating or testing the pair sequence. For permanent installations use appropriate cable management and avoid sharp bends or kinks to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable away from strong electrical noise sources and avoid running it parallel to mains power cables for long distances; replace if connector pins show visible wear or if data errors occur.
