Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6 patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6 0,25 m rood

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable (0.25 m) is a short, high-performance network cable designed for reliable connections in confined spaces. It features S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors with aluminium/copper plating for durable contact and stable signal transmission. The cable's red jacket makes it easy to identify within patch panels or dense cable runs.

Advantages

This CAT 6 cable offers high-speed signal transmission and reduced interference thanks to S/FTP shielding. Robust inner conductors and precise RJ-45 plugs ensure stable connectivity and long-term durability. Its compact 0.25 m length is practical for connecting adjacent devices where excess cable would be undesirable.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in tight spaces (e.g., patch panels, switch-to-switch links)
• Short interconnections between routers, switches, and wall outlets
• Environments requiring colour-coded cabling for easy identification

Key specifications

• Cable type: Straight-through cable
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Aluminium/copper
• Colour: Red

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plugs into the corresponding ports of your network devices until they click into place. Use this 0.25 m patch cable for short links where devices are close together to avoid cable clutter. Ensure both ends are fully seated to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use colour-coded short patch cables like this red Cat6 when organising patch panels or equipment racks for easier maintenance.
