Netwerkkabel Helos 263756 blauw 3 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Helos 263756 Blue 3m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a 3-meter Ethernet cable designed to support high-speed wired connections compliant with the Cat6a standard. The cable features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to maintain signal integrity and reduce interference. Its blue jacket provides a clear visual identification for network installations in home or office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil wrap with individually shielded pairs to improve protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, which helps maintain stable data transmission over the 3 m run. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors are included to ensure consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance compared with earlier categories for compatible network equipment.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to a network switch or router
• Wiring networked peripherals such as printers, IP cameras, or VoIP phones
• Short-run connections in server cabinets, patch panels, or wall outlets
• Home office or small office Ethernet setups requiring reliable wired links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until they click into place. Route the 3 m cable to avoid sharp bends or tight kinks and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible. If connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, ensure secure seating of the connector for optimal contact. To disconnect, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the plug.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where reduced interference is important; avoid stretching the cable and maintain bend radius guidelines typical for Ethernet cabling. Confirm both connected devices support the desired network speed and configure network equipment settings as required.
