Netwerkkabel Helos 363679 RJ-45 (M) naar RJ-45 (M) CAT 7 1 m grijs

The Helos Patch Cable 363679 is a 1 meter CAT 7 network cable with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. The cable uses PiMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) construction combined with SFTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Halogen-free materials and a kink protection sleeve improve safety and mechanical durability during installation and everyday use.

Advantages

This CAT 7 cable provides improved signal integrity and bandwidth compared with lower category cables, enabling faster and more reliable connections for modern network equipment. The SFTP shielding and PiMF design minimize interference from nearby cables and electronic devices. Halogen-free materials reduce the risk of toxic gas emissions in case of fire, and the integrated kink protection sleeve helps prevent connector and cable damage at bending points.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in LAN and data cabinet setups
• High-speed Ethernet connections for desktop computers and workstations
• Audio/video streaming and large file transfers within local networks
• Temporary and permanent connections in home and small office environments

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7
• Connector type: RJ-45 (male) to RJ-45 (male)
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: SFTP (overall braid + foil) with PiMF pairs
• Conductor material: stranded copper
• Jacket: halogen-free material
• Color: grey
• Strain relief: integrated kink protection sleeve

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on a switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid tight bends near the connectors; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve signal performance. For fixed installations, route the cable along cable management paths and secure it without excessive compression.

Recommendations

Use this CAT 7 cable where reduced interference and higher bandwidth are required. Keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic noise. For longest service life, avoid repeated sharp bends and excessive pulling force when installing connectors.
