Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0,5 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0.5 m networking cable is a high-performance patch cable designed for short-distance connections in home, office, and data center environments. With S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 0.5 m cable provides stable transmission for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications where minimal crosstalk and reduced electromagnetic interference are required. The cable is finished in white and suited for visible cable runs or contained installations where a compact, reliable link is needed.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines individual pair foil shielding with an overall braided shield to limit alien crosstalk and external EMI, improving signal integrity for high-speed networks. The short 0.5 m length reduces excess slack and helps maintain tidy cable management in patch panels, wall plates, and workstation setups. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with networking devices and switches. The cable supports the higher frequency and bandwidth characteristics associated with Category 6a performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in rack installations
• Short connections between network devices on a desk or workstation
• High-speed Ethernet links requiring reduced interference
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a short, neat connection is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil shielded pairs with overall braided shield)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: White
• Intended use: Ethernet networking (supports Gigabit and 10G applications)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use this 0.5 m patch cable to link devices that are in close proximity, such as connecting a switch to a patch panel or a desktop computer to a wall outlet. Avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connector ends and ensure the cable is not stretched under tension. For permanent installations, route the cable through cable management channels or behind panels to keep the run secure and accessible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable run as short and direct as possible, avoid running it parallel to high-power electrical lines, and use compatible Cat 6a-rated ports on network equipment when deploying at higher data rates.
