Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0,5 m rood

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP networking cable is a 0.5 m red patch lead with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this Cat6a cable uses S/FTP shielding (screened foil twisted pair) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in crowded cabling environments. Its compact length and bright red color make it easy to identify in racks, patch panels or desktop setups.

Advantages

This Cat 6a S/FTP cable provides improved protection against external noise thanks to foil shielding combined with overall screening, which helps maintain stable high-frequency performance. The short 0.5 m length minimizes signal attenuation and is convenient for connecting nearby devices without excess slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment, while the distinctive red jacket aids cable management and visual identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in server cabinets
• Short-distance connections between routers and desktop PCs
• Linking network equipment in home offices and small business workstations
• Color-coded cabling runs for easy identification and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen + individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port of the devices you want to link, ensuring secure seating until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short, direct connections where excess cable length is undesirable. When routing in cabinets or along desks, avoid sharp bends and do not overly compress the cable to preserve shielding and conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required and within its short distance purpose. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and ensure connectors are clean and undamaged before installation.
