Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1,5 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1.5 m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. With S/FTP construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 1.5 m black cable supports enhanced noise rejection and consistent data throughput for demanding network environments at home or in the office.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-wrapped pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity at higher frequencies. The Cat 6a specification allows for stable performance for applications that require up to 10 Gbps over short distances, while the 1.5 m length provides a neat, low-latency connection between nearby devices. Durable RJ-45 connectors ensure secure mating and maintain consistent contact for long-term use.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, and networked devices in home or small office setups
• High-speed local data transfers between desktop PCs, NAS devices, and media servers
• Wired connections for gaming consoles, smart TVs, and streaming devices
• Temporary or permanent links in structured cabling where 1.5 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-wrapped pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of the devices you want to connect, such as a router and a computer or a switch and a NAS. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm proper seating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce strain near the connector ends. For rack or wall installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the cable shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for connections under 1.5 m where reduced interference and higher bandwidth are needed. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle bend radii to preserve shielding and signal quality.
