Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m groen

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m Green networking cable provides a compact, shielded connection for high-speed Ethernet links. Compliant with Cat6a performance, the cable uses S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair) shielding to minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a 1 metre length, this green cable is suitable for short runs where reliable 10 Gigabit-capable performance and clear signal integrity are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction offers enhanced protection against alien crosstalk and EMI compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain consistent throughput in dense cabling environments. The Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved headroom for future network upgrades. With factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs, the cable is ready for immediate use and its flexible jacket simplifies routing and placement in racks, workstations, or desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Short Ethernet connections between switches, patch panels and devices
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in office or data center floor wiring for short runs
• Areas requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity
• Visible or themed cabling where a colored cable aids identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (screen foil plus individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1 m
• Outer colour: Green
• Typical use: Ethernet data transmission up to Cat6a performance levels

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable for direct device-to-switch, patch panel-to-switch, or switch-to-switch links where the 1 metre length fits the distance between endpoints. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force during installation to preserve internal pair geometry and shielding effectiveness. If routing through metal conduits or near power cables, maintain separation to further reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable in environments where short, high-speed links are needed and where shielding will improve signal quality. Verify compatibility with connected equipment rated for Cat6a speeds and handle the cable gently when installing to maintain shielding continuity and connector integrity.
