Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 7,5 m rood

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP networking cable 7.5 m Red provides shielded twisted-pair connectivity designed for high-performance Ethernet links. This Cat6a cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a bright red jacket. It supports high-speed data transfer in demanding networking environments and is suitable for structured cabling, server rooms, office networks and audiovisual installations where reduced interference and reliable gigabit or 10 Gigabit connectivity are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk from adjacent cables and equipment, improving signal integrity over longer distances. The 7.5 m length balances reach and manageability for desktop-to-switch or patch panel connections, while RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network devices. The red outer sheath simplifies cable identification in dense cable runs and organized racks.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between workstations and network switches
• Server room and rack patching for high-speed links
• AV installations requiring reliable data transfer
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Red
• Intended use: Ethernet networking up to 10 Gbps (application dependent)

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a proper physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas of mechanical stress; maintain separation from power cabling where possible to minimize interference. For best performance, use within the cable length limits recommended for Cat6a installations and follow standard network testing procedures after installation.

Recommendations

Use the red Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable for visible patching runs or categorized cable groups to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting. When installing in racks or conduits, avoid tight bends and compressive forces on the cable jacket and connectors; if the environment has high EMI, prefer shielded patch panels and grounded terminations to preserve shielding effectiveness.
