Netwerkkabel Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 1m geel

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 1m Yellow networking cable is a one-meter patch cord engineered for reliable Ethernet connections. Constructed with SF/UTP shielding, it reduces external electromagnetic interference while supporting typical Cat5e performance for Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit applications over short runs. Both ends terminate in standard RJ-45 connectors and the bright yellow jacket improves visibility in crowded cable runs and organized installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e SF/UTP cable combines braided shield and overall foil to limit crosstalk and external noise, helping maintain signal integrity in office or home environments. The one-meter length is convenient for connecting nearby devices without excess slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface ports. The yellow outer sheath makes it easy to trace connections and identify network segments during setup or maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within a rack or desk area
• Patch panel to switch short links in office or home networks
• Temporary network setups and testbench environments
• Situations where cable visibility or color-coding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (overall foil with braided shield)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, ensuring clips engage to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from high-power electrical sources and large motors that may generate interference. Use the one-meter length for short interconnections such as between a wall outlet and a desktop device or between adjacent patch panel and switch ports.

Recommendations

For reliable signal quality, maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid kinking, and do not exceed recommended tension when routing. If longer runs or higher guaranteed Gigabit performance over longer distances are required, consider using higher-category cables designed for those applications.
