Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 0,25 m geel

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 0.25m Yellow is a short patch cable engineered for shielded Gigabit Ethernet connections. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and SF/UTP (S/FTP) shielding, this 0.25 m cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and provides a compact, clearly visible link for patch panels, switches, and devices where space is limited. The yellow cable jacket improves identification in dense cabling environments and helps maintain organized network layouts.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, supporting more stable transmission at Gigabit speeds. Its short 0.25 m length minimizes signal loss and clutter in racks or on desks. RJ-45 terminations on both ends ensure compatibility with standard networking equipment. The bright yellow jacket aids quick visual identification during installation and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in server rooms and data cabinets
• Linking network devices in crowded rack spaces where cable length must be minimal
• Temporary connections and test setups where clear color coding is useful
• Workspace or home office connections between nearby devices

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 0.25 m
• Color: Yellow
• Category: CAT6

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the first device and the other connector into the corresponding port on the second device, switch, or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated and the locking clips engage. For shielded installations, verify that connected equipment and patch panels support cable grounding to take full advantage of the S/FTP shielding. Avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connectors to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short interconnections within racks and between adjacent network devices. When deploying in environments with potential electromagnetic interference, pair the cable with grounded shielded patch panels and connectors. Keep the cable length as short as practical to reduce clutter and preserve signal integrity.
