Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 15m zwart

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 15m Black networking cable provides a 15-metre connection for wired Ethernet networks. Designed to the CAT6 standard with S/FTP (screened overall braid plus foil-wrapped pairs) shielding, this cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and comes fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for residential and professional installations where stable, high-speed data transmission is required.

Advantages

The combination of overall braid shielding and individually foil-wrapped pairs reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over longer runs. The CAT6 specification supports Gigabit Ethernet performance, and the pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors allow plug-and-play installation without the need for on-site termination. The 15 m length provides flexibility for connecting equipment across rooms or through cabling routes while maintaining consistent throughput.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks for computers, smart TVs and media players
• Office workstations, switches and network printers requiring Gigabit connections
• Gaming consoles and streaming devices that need low-latency, high-bandwidth links
• Patch panels and structured cabling runs within racks or underfloor pathways

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Outer colour: Black

How to use

Route the Helos CAT6 S/FTP cable between network devices such as a router, switch, computer or console and insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force when installing to preserve the internal pair geometry and shielding. For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this cable for connections that require reliable Gigabit throughput and improved noise immunity. When running the cable over long distances or through cable trays, maintain the recommended bend radius and secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without deforming the jacket. For rack or patch panel installations, label both ends to simplify future maintenance.
