Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 30m groen

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 30m Green networking cable provides a 30 metre link for Ethernet networks using CAT6 performance characteristics. Constructed with S/FTP (overall braid with individual foil shielding) and PIMF pair construction, the cable is designed for reduced crosstalk and improved immunity to external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) connections in home and office environments where a visible green cable may help route identification.

Advantages

The combination of S/FTP shielding and PIMF pair configuration lowers near-end and far-end crosstalk while helping maintain signal integrity at gigabit speeds. A 30 m length covers typical room-to-room and rack-to-workstation runs without additional patching. RJ-45 termination ensures compatibility with standard network equipment and switches. The green jacket provides clear visual identification within structured cabling or mixed-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T(X)) between switches, routers, computers and networked devices
• Home and small office networking where a 30 m horizontal or vertical run is required
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling improves reliability

Key specifications

• Length: 30 m
• Cabling: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individual foil per pair), PIMF pair construction
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid kinks and route it along cable management paths or through raceways as needed. Plug RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices, ensuring secure seating until the connectors click. Verify link lights on devices to confirm physical connectivity and run network diagnostics or speed tests to confirm throughput. For wall or ceiling runs, use appropriate clips or tie-wraps to fasten the cable without compressing the jacket or damaging the internal pairs.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and dense bundles of unshielded cables. Maintain bend radius guidelines (do not sharply bend or kink) and avoid excessive pulling force during installation. If the installation passes through metallic conduits or near strong EMI sources, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment and consider complementary installation practices for shielded cabling.
