Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m blauw

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m Blue is a Cat6-rated networking cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. With a 5 meter length and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet and is built with S/FTP (PIMF) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for high-speed data transfer.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) construction provides improved protection against alien crosstalk and external noise compared to unshielded alternatives, helping to preserve throughput and reduce packet loss. The Cat6 specification ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet networks and delivers sufficient bandwidth for common high-demand tasks. The molded RJ-45 connectors and color-coded blue jacket simplify installation and identification within structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and networked printers in home or small office networks
• Wired gaming setups requiring low-latency, stable connections
• Streaming 4K video and other high-bandwidth multimedia applications
• Patch cabling in data cabinets and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF) — overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends (male)
• Category: Cat6
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other connector into a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connections are fully seated until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid tight bends with a radius smaller than the cable's specification and keep the cable routed away from heavy electrical equipment or fluorescent lighting to minimize interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short to medium-run connections up to 5 meters where Gigabit performance and interference protection are required. For permanent installations in high-interference environments, consider routing the cable within conduit or using additional grounding practices as appropriate for your infrastructure.
