Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7,5m rood

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 7.5m Red networking cable provides a shielded Category 6 connection with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward integration into existing network equipment. With a 7.5 metre length and S/FTP (shielded overall with foil around pairs) construction, the cable is designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T(X)) performance in home and office environments. The red jacket offers clear visual identification in crowded cable runs while maintaining a professional appearance.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable high-speed data transmission. Category 6 specification provides improved performance over older cabling for Gigabit Ethernet applications. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends allow plug-and-play installation without special tools. The 7.5 m length balances reach and cable management needs, and the colored jacket makes tracing and organization easier in multi-cable setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for streaming, gaming and file transfer
• Cable runs where visual identification of individual links is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: Category 6 (CAT6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foil-wrapped pairs, PIMF construction)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, factory-terminated
• Data rate / protocol compatibility: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Red

How to use

Uncoil the Helos CAT6 cable and route it along the desired path, avoiding sharp bends and tight loops. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For best performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power cables or large motors. If routing through cable ducts or along walls, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, avoid bending the cable tighter than its minimum bend radius and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines. Use the red colour to label or map network runs in documentation to simplify troubleshooting and maintenance.
