Netwerkkabel Helos LWL 19 inch lasbox 24 x LC Duplex OM4 kant-en-klaar grijs 375560

The Helos LWL 19" Splice Box 24 x LC Duplex OM4 ready in gray is a compact, rack-mountable fiber optic splice enclosure engineered for organized cable management in 19-inch racks. It integrates 24 LC Duplex OM4 ports to support high-density multimode connections and is supplied ready for OM4 multimode fiber termination. The gray metal housing and fixed 1U form factor provide a standardized footprint for data centers, server rooms, and telecommunication closets, offering a practical solution for fiber splicing and patching needs.

Advantages

This splice box consolidates multiple OM4 LC Duplex connections into a single 19" 1U enclosure to save rack space and simplify cabling. The factory-ready OM4 compatibility reduces preparation time during installation and helps maintain consistent multimode performance. The enclosure design provides organized routing for incoming and outgoing fibers and protects splices from mechanical stress and dust, contributing to reliable optical performance.

Suitable for

• High-density multimode fiber termination in data centers
• Patch and splice consolidation in server rooms and comms cabinets
• Telecommunications closets and campus LAN distribution points
• Upgrades to OM4 multimode fiber infrastructure

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC Duplex (24 ports)
• Fiber type compatibility: OM4 multimode
• Rack mount size: 19" 1U
• Enclosure color: gray
• Function: splice and patch management with internal fiber routing

How to use

Mount the splice box in a standard 19" rack or cabinet using the provided mounting holes. Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the designated entry points and secure them to the internal management trays. Perform fiber splicing or attach pre-terminated pigtails to the LC Duplex ports as required, ensuring correct bend radii and strain relief. After splicing and testing, organize fibers within the enclosure to maintain clear separation between connectors and splices, then close the cover to protect the assembly.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber preparation tools and follow standard multimode splicing procedures. Maintain minimum bend radius for OM4 fibers, label ports for easy identification, and perform insertion loss and continuity tests after installation to verify optical performance.
