Netwerkkabel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 30 m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 30m networking cable is a 30-metre Ethernet lead designed for structured cabling and patching tasks. It features S/FTP shielding that combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs (PIMF), RJ-45 connectors on both ends and an orange jacket for easy visual identification. The cable supports CAT 6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet and is suitable for use in home, office and small data center environments where reliable high-speed data transmission is required.

Advantages

S/FTP (PIMF) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables and nearby electrical equipment. The cable's CAT 6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications and delivers stable Gigabit Ethernet performance over its 30 m length. Factory-fitted RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and provide a ready-to-use solution for patch panels, switches and network outlets. The orange jacket enhances visibility during installation and maintenance, helping to avoid accidental disconnections.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, routers and wall outlets
• Structured cabling in offices and small server rooms
• High-speed data links for VoIP phones and workstations
• Temporary or permanent connections where identification is important

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs, PIMF)
• Category: CAT 6
• Length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, factory-terminated
• Supported protocols: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: Orange jacket for visual identification

How to use

Route the cable from the network device to the destination point, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Plug an RJ-45 connector into the switch, router or wall outlet and the other end into the target device. For permanent installations, ensure appropriate cable management using cable ties and patch panels to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on the connectors. Verify link status and network speed on connected devices after installation to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Use the cable within standard indoor environments and avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture or extreme mechanical stress. For best performance keep the cable length under recommended distances for CAT 6 channels when combined with patch panels and other patch cords, and separate from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
