Netwerkkabel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 30m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 30m networking cable is a 30-metre blue Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and implements S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair with overall braid) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity across longer runs. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, making this cable compatible with common switches, routers, network cards and patch panels that support 10GBase-T.

Advantages

This CAT 6a cable offers improved noise rejection and crosstalk protection thanks to its S/FTP (PIMF) shielding, which helps preserve signal quality in environments with other electrical equipment or multiple adjacent cables. The 30 m length provides flexibility for linking equipment across rooms or within server racks without requiring additional couplers. The standardized RJ-45 connectors ensure plug-and-play connectivity with existing network hardware that supports 10GBase-T and gigabit Ethernet speeds.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T connections between switches, servers and workstations
• High-speed home and office networks requiring up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Patch cabling in small data closets and structured cabling between floors
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

How to use

Uncoil the Helos CAT 6a cable and route it along the planned cable path, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 ports on compatible devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards. For best performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference (large motors, high-voltage power lines) and avoid running it parallel to mains power cables. If used within patch panels or keystone jacks, ensure proper grounding of shielded connectors and follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions for shield termination.

Recommendations

For reliable 10GBase-T performance, use this CAT 6a S/FTP cable for single-link runs up to 30 m as supplied. When installing in high-interference environments, verify that both end devices and patching hardware support shielded cabling and provide proper shield termination to maintain the cable's interference protection.
