Netwerkkabel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 30m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a networking cable is a 30 m white Ethernet cable designed for high-speed local area networks. It supports data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and uses 10GBase-T cabling technology. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the cable employs S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair with individual pair foil) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer distances.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables, resulting in more stable throughput and lower error rates in demanding network environments. CAT 6a specification and 10GBase-T support enable higher bandwidth for data centers, office networks, and multimedia streaming. The 30 m length offers flexibility for routing between equipment racks, wall outlets, and network devices while the factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and small server rooms
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and workstations
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and large file transfers
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (CAT 6a)
• Data transfer rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened with individual pair foil / PIMF)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: White

How to use

Route the Helos CAT 6a cable between network devices, ensuring bends respect the cable's minimum bend radius and that connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until a positive click is felt. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or fluorescent lighting and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Install the cable in indoor environments and verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices after installation. For installations in high-interference areas, ensure proper grounding of network equipment and consider using shielded patch panels and connectors to maintain the shielding continuity provided by the S/FTP design.
