Netwerkkabel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 7,5 m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a networking cable, 7.5 meters long, supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. The cable uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foiled pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The blue outer jacket provides clear identification in installations while meeting common performance requirements for 10GBase-T networks.

Advantages

S/FTP (PIMF) construction offers improved protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference compared with unshielded or partially shielded cables. The CAT 6a specification enables stable 10GBase-T performance over typical horizontal runs, and the fixed 7.5 m length is practical for linking devices in office desks, network switches, or patch panels without excess slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with a wide range of network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, workstations and gaming systems to switches or routers
• Patching between switches and patch panels in small office or home environments
• High-bandwidth applications such as 4K/8K video streaming, large file transfers and backup
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield with individually foiled pairs / PIMF)
• Supported standard: 10GBase-T
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the port of your switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and compression points; maintain gentle curves and avoid kinking. For best performance, keep the cable separated from strong power sources or large electrical equipment that could introduce interference.

Recommendations

Use the Helos CAT 6a S/FTP cable for permanent or semi-permanent wired links where 10 Gbit/s capability and reduced interference are required. In structured cabling runs, follow local installation standards for bend radius and support; avoid running the cable in direct contact with unshielded power lines to preserve shielding effectiveness.
