Netwerkkabel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 7,5m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a networking cable 7.5m is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. With S/FTP construction and support for 10GBase-T, this 7.5 meter cable provides reliable data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the cable is finished in green for clear identification in cabling environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP (shielded foil over each pair with overall braided shield) design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Category 6a specification allows stable 10GBase-T operation over typical horizontal runs. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network equipment. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices within rooms or between closely situated racks while the colored jacket aids cable management.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between computers, switches and routers
• Small office and home office network cabling
• Audio-visual installations and media streaming requiring low latency
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil around each pair)
• Data rate support: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Green

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (computer, switch, router, or media player) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, prolonged tension, or kinking, and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines where possible to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this CAT 6a S/FTP cable for runs within 7.5 m and terminate into compatible 10GBase-T ports. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain bend radii recommended for twisted-pair cables. In installations near sources of interference, verify that shield terminations are properly connected to grounded equipment.
