Netwerkkabel LANBERG PCF6A-10CC-1500-BK Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 recht 15 m zwart

LANBERG PCF6A-10CC-1500-BK Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 straight-through 15 m Black is a 15-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. The cable uses Cat6a performance class and S/FTP shielding to support reliable data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 straight-through connectors and the black outer jacket delivers a discreet, professional appearance suitable for office, data centre and residential installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbances. Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity over longer distances compared with lower category cables. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network devices. The 15 m length offers added reach for connecting equipment across rooms without the need for additional couplers or extensions.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router, PC or patch panel) and the other connector to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is heard to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain recommended bend radius for Cat6a cables. If running near sources of strong electromagnetic noise, position the cable to maximise separation or use dedicated cable trays to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test the installed link with appropriate network cable testers supporting Cat6a class standards. Avoid kinking the cable and keep connector contacts clean. When routing through conduits or across ceilings, leave service loops for future adjustments and avoid running parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference.
