Netwerkkabel LANBERG PCU6-10CU-0150-S Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 naar RJ-45 1,5 m grijs

LANBERG PCU6-10CU-0150-S Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 to RJ-45 1.5 m Grey is a straight-through network cable designed for wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. The cable follows Cat6 performance parameters and uses unshielded U/UTP construction to deliver stable data transmission. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a compact 1.5 m length, it is intended for short runs between devices such as computers, network switches, routers and patch panels.

Advantages

The cable provides Cat6-level bandwidth suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and higher, supporting data rates up to 1250 Mbit/s. Its U/UTP construction offers a balance of flexibility and signal integrity for typical LAN installations. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and quick plug-and-play deployment. The neutral grey jacket helps the cable blend into most office and residential environments while the 1.5 m length reduces excess slack in tight installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and IP devices to a switch or router
• Patch panel to switch short links in small racks or wall cabinets
• Wired connections for home network equipment and media players
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where short runs are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Topology: straight-through
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1250 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Outer colour: grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the 1.5 m cable for direct connections between nearby equipment such as a computer and a switch, or between patch panel ports and active network devices. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the jacket when routing the cable through cable management channels or behind furniture. If connecting to a patch panel, ensure the panel port and the switch port are powered off or follow hot-swap safety procedures recommended by your equipment manufacturer.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separate from large power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference. Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for short to medium-length LAN links where Gigabit performance is required; for longer runs or environments with high EMI, consider shielded cable types or higher-category solutions.
