Netwerkkabel LANBERG PCU6-10CU-1000-S Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 straight-through 10 m grijs

LANBERG PCU6-10CU-1000-S Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 straight-through 10 m Grey is a structured network cable designed for wired Ethernet connections. The cable features Cat6 performance with unshielded twisted pair construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing a reliable 10 m connection for linking devices such as computers, switches and routers. It supports data transfer rates up to 1250 Mbit/s and is intended for typical home and office networking scenarios where a stable wired link is required.

Advantages

The cable combines Category 6 signaling characteristics with a U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) design to reduce crosstalk while maintaining flexibility and ease of installation. Straight-through wiring ensures compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and network equipment. A 10 m length offers extended reach without the need for additional couplers, and the grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible or concealed routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and networked printers to switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch links in small office or home wiring closets
• Wired connections for IP cameras, VoIP phones and other PoE-capable devices (subject to device power requirements)
• Temporary or permanent cable runs where a 10 m straight-through Cat6 link is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Cable topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Cable type: straight-through
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 10 m
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1250 Mbit/s
• Outer jacket colour: grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector at each end of the cable into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices or network equipment until the connector clicks into place. For best results, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and route it away from large sources of electromagnetic interference such as heavy machinery or high-voltage power lines. Use the cable for standard Ethernet configurations; no special configuration is required on the cable itself.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 cable for network segments up to 10 metres and verify that connected devices support the desired 1 Gbit/s or higher link speeds. When deploying in environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider shielded alternatives. Secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain connection integrity.
