Netwerkkabel Lindy 3 m Cat.5e RJ-45 U/UTP grijs

The Lindy 3m Cat.5e RJ-45 U/UTP Grey network cable is a 3-metre straight-through Ethernet cable designed for data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and operating frequencies up to 100 MHz. It uses unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 and is supplied in an individual polybag. RJ-45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts provide corrosion-resistant connections suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks.

Advantages

This Cat.5e cable supports Gigabit Ethernet despite being unshielded due to its specified electrophysical parameters (NExT, FExT). Gold-plated contacts improve long-term contact reliability and resist corrosion. The snagless strain relief design protects the connector latch during installation and removal, reducing the risk of mechanical damage. Individual polybag packaging helps keep the cable protected until use.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within home or office networks
• Wiring wall outlets to patch panels or network equipment
• Temporary or permanent connections requiring up to 3 m cable length

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Cable category: Cat.5e U/UTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 100 MHz
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Packaging: individual polybag

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (PC, switch or router) and the other end to the corresponding port on the local network equipment or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the snagless design protects the latch during plug/unplug operations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the cable within its 3 m length rating and replace if the connector contacts or insulation become visibly damaged.
