Netwerkkabel Lindy Cat.6 SSTP/S/FTP PIMF Premium 10m zwart

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable supporting up to 250 MHz bandwidth, designed for Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) and AV extension applications. The cable is shielded with an overall braid and foil-wrapped individual pairs (S/FTP), manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801. The product is supplied with a halogen-free LSZH outer sheath and packaged individually in a polybag. Gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief protect the connector and ensure reliable contacts over time.

Advantages

The Lindy Cat.6 SSTP/S/FTP PIMF Premium cable combines an S/FTP shielding scheme for reduced interference, gold-plated contacts for corrosion-resistant connections, and a snagless connector design to prevent latch damage during installation. The LSZH outer jacket reduces smoke and prevents halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for public and indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) networks
• AV extension and professional network installations
• Indoor and public spaces requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 (S/FTP / SSTP / PIMF)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Shielding: overall braid + foil for individual pairs (S/FTP)
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Length: 10 m
• Colour: Black
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to your network device and the other to the switch, router, or wall outlet. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design protects the latch during plugging and unplugging. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive mechanical stress. For long-term installations, verify correct shielding continuity and grounding according to your site’s cabling practices.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit Ethernet and AV extension where reduced electromagnetic interference and halogen-free jacket properties are required; avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to minimize noise induction.
