Netwerkkabel LogiLink Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 3m zwart

The LogiLink Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 3m Black is a 3-metre networking cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. It uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall braid) construction, AWG 26/7 bare copper conductors and LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket material to balance signal integrity, safety and durability. The cable meets ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards and weighs approximately 110 g.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable high-bandwidth connections. RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide standard compatibility with network equipment, while copper conductors and plated contacts ensure stable conductivity. The LSZH jacket lowers toxic smoke emission in case of fire and the Cat6a specification supports higher frequencies and data rates than Cat5e or Cat6 cables.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes
• Office network workstations and switches
• Connecting routers, modems, NAS devices and gaming consoles
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (pair foil + overall braid, PIMF)
• Conductor: AWG 26/7 bare copper
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-C.2
• Weight: ~110 g
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to connect (for example, between a router and a switch or between a computer and a wall outlet). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and route the cable to avoid sharp bends or pinching. For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For best results in high-noise environments, use the LogiLink Cat6a S/FTP cable when connecting equipment that requires stable, high-speed links. Follow standard installation practices: maintain bend radius, avoid unnecessary tension, and test connections with a cable tester if precise verification is required.
