Netwerkkabel LOGON FTP Cat5e 3 m, RJ45–RJ45, 1000 Mbit/s, rood

LOGON FTP Cat5e 3 m network cable with RJ45–RJ45 connectors is designed for wired Ethernet connections in home and small office environments. The cable follows the Cat5e standard with FTP (Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding and supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. A 3-meter length provides flexibility for connecting devices such as PCs, routers, switches and patch panels while the red jacket simplifies identification within cable bundles and network racks.

Advantages

FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical equipment. The Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet at short to medium distances. Durable RJ45 connectors on both ends provide a reliable plug-and-play connection for standard Ethernet ports, and the visible red outer sheath helps with quick visual tracing during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or servers to routers and switches
• Patch panel to switch connections in small patch cabinets
• Home networking where cable identification is helpful
• Temporary or permanent office network cabling over short to medium runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: FTP (foil shield around twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 3 meters
• Outer jacket color: red

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on your router, switch or patch panel. Ensure both devices are powered on and that network interfaces are configured correctly for automatic link negotiation or set to the required speed and duplex settings. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; route it through cable management channels or clips to reduce strain and maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat5e and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use the red jacket to separate this connection from others when organizing multiple cables in racks or conduit. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
