Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 1,5 m grijs

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP Ethernet Cable (1.5 m) with RJ-45 connectors on both ends provides reliable wired network connectivity up to 1000 Mbit/s. The cable features U/UTP construction, gold-plated contacts and is available in a grey finish. Reinforced strain relief and a snagless latch design increase durability and make it suitable for repeated plugging and routing in home or office networks.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT5e cable combines U/UTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to support stable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Reinforced strain relief and snagless latch protection reduce connector wear and accidental clip damage. Available in copper and copper-clad aluminum variants and multiple lengths and colours, the cable offers flexibility to match different installation needs.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home networks
• Gigabit Ethernet links (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Patch panels and wall outlets in small offices
• Temporary setups where frequent plugging is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Rated speed: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Grey
• Weight: 0.071 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the connectors; use cable ties or clips if needed. For best performance, keep the cable separate from mains power cables and avoid running alongside electrical wiring for long distances.

Recommendations

Choose the copper variant for maximum conductivity and long-term reliability; copper-clad aluminum offers a lighter, cost-effective alternative. For stable Gigabit links, ensure both devices and intermediate network hardware support 1000Base-T operation.
